Fr. Herb

Hi, this is my first attempt to establish a blog for the Carmelite Chapel-in-the-Mall. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. This is a whole new world for me.

    Hi Fr. Herb,
    Arleen Bradley here, I am now following your blog. Boy are you up-to-date on technology. Your thoughts on the daily readings would be a good idea, comments on what is going on in the church worldwide, the pope's words & travels, about the saint of the day, background of holy days, issues facing catholics today, on this day in church history, info on the Carmelite's and their work, founder, saints. Just a few suggestions for you. I look forward to this blog.

    Today is the feast of the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother into heaven. (Here in the US by decision of the Conference of US Bishops, when a Holy Day falls on a Saturday or Monday, there is no obligation to attend Mass) However, it is a great privilege to do so
